Asia Bibi the Christian woman sentenced to death by the Pakistani authorities for allegedly blaspheming Islam by insulting its prophet Mohammed is still languishing in jail. It is also reported that “Maulana Yousef Qureshi, an Islamic cleric, told a rally in the north-western town of Peshawar that his mosque would give 6,000 US dollars (£3,800) to the person who kills Asia Bibi.” (Express, 3 December 2010)
Let us be clear. Islam is a religion of idolatry, satanically inspired to deceive millions.
Islam is also an ideology of hatred, with the demand that all submit to its dictates accompanied by threats of brutality and death for non-compliance. At its core is a complete intolerance for other faiths. There is nothing good or peaceful about Islam.
UK politicians and opinion formers must stop their apology and defence for Islam, and the encouragement of its followers to bring their bankrupt evil ideology into British society by giving any credence to Sharia law. This is treason and should be exposed as such. Appeasement is not an option – only complete rejection of Islam and Sharia law.
Let Muslims live as Muslims – but do not let then force us to accept what they believe or do... a freedom we wish them to have, but which they deny to everyone else.
Most Muslims in Britain live at peace, but it is the extreme clerics who win the day... moderate Muslims are just as afraid of them as non-Muslims are! We have no quarrel with individual Muslims who wish to live side-by-side with people of other religions, or none (as they used to do for centuries).
Christians are called as far as possible to live peaceably with all people, but when our values and are freedoms, which have benefitted all, are literally being stolen, then it is our Christian duty to resist and rebuke evil using Biblical principles.
For too long the fear of man, and not God, has made the majority of Christians politically correct spineless wimps.
“And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that [were] on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
If a person, who calls themselves a Christian, prefers or desires the old pleasures of Egypt, then go back to Egypt and stop calling yourself a Christian. Stop playing games.
Alternatively, if you have become lax and lost your first love for the Lord, repent, turnaround, confess your sin and surrender your heart, soul and mind to seeking first the Kingdom of God. Purge disobedience from your life and obey the teaching of the Bible and Jesus Christ.
Would you be prepared to die for your faith like Asia Bibi? She has committed no act of terrorism. She just used words to witness to her faith in the true God and Father of the Lord Jesus Christ. Yet, the true face of Islam is a hatred for the truth. Islam can’t defend itself with reason, and therefore defaults to violence, time and time again.
Our collective laxity as Christians has allowed evil ideologies to rampage through British society and for Christian values to be rejected and positioned as wrong and corrupt. Evil has been called good. Good has been called evil.
“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.” (Romans 13:12)
“.... choose you this day whom ye will serve...”
