"I am pleased to announce that today Frontex has signed with the Greek authorities the operational plan that will allow the deployment of the Rapid Intervention Border teams (Rabit) as of 2 November, with an anticipated duration of up to two months (along the Greek/Turkish border)," EU home affairs commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom said in a statement on Friday evening. There are two issues here - one is that the EU will not stop illegals from entering the UK, and, second, this is the start of a move towards developing an EU army.
