An MP sent this quote of what David Cameron has said about churches, in reply to a letter from a constituent stating her opposition to same-sex marriage:

"I passionately believe that all institutions need to wake up to the case for equality and the Church shouldn't be locking out people who are gay, or are bisexual or are transgender from being full members of that Church, because many people with deeply held Christian views are also gay. And just as the Conservative Party, as an institution, made a mistake in locking people out, so I think the Churches can be in danger of doing the same thing." (Prime Minister's speach at LGBT Reception, 25 July 2012)

The first thing to note is how gloriously ignorant Cameron is!

He equates 'the Church' with 'churches', and both with 'institutions'.

Then he equates these with a political party!

He dares to tell people of God who they may, and may not, 'lock out', when it is God Himself who 'locks them out' because of their unbelief and heinous acts!

And to say that many gays are 'Christian' shows he has no idea what he is talking about.

We must ask the question: WHY are these very few claimants to salvation listened to, but not the majority who say otherwise? The Conservative Party, like all Parties, have welcomed 'gays' only because it brings them a few extra paltry votes.

The true Church is not an institution and has specific commands from God. And those commands do not include the idea of welcoming openly wicked people, such as homosexuals, into the fold of the true Church. They must repent and turn from their wickedness immediately, or continue to be left out. This is because what they do and say harms others and destroys God's word.

The Church consists ONLY of those who have repented and are saved.

It does not include those whom God calls 'reprobate' – homosexuals and others who commit evil sex acts publically. And if those who claim to be saved act homosexually, they are to be cast out of fellowship and shunned, for they will not enter Heaven.

That, Mr Cameron, is biblical truth. I do not care two hoots if this contravenes your warped conscience.
