It was very noticeable that the BBC News and other media in the initial reports of the atrocities committed by Anders Behring Breivik in Norway tried to make an unsubstantiated connection that he was a Christian or had sympathies with fundamentalist Christianity. These assertions have been shown to be false.

Breivik instead hails Charles Darwin, whose evolutionary theories stand in contrast to the claims of the Bible, and affirms: "As for the Church and science, it is essential that science takes an undisputed precedence over biblical teachings. Europe has always been the cradle of science, and it must always continue to be that way. Regarding my personal relationship with God, I guess I'm not an excessively religious man. I am first and foremost a man of logic. However, I am a supporter of a monocultural Christian Europe." (worldnetdaily, 24 July 2011)

The gospel of Jesus Christ is to be preached and not forced upon people with the edge of the sword of the pointing of a gun. When Jesus Christ was betrayed and arrested in the Garden of Gethsemane, he told his disciples to put away their swords and He did not resist arrest. (Matthew 26: 51-52 and Luke 22:49-51)

The media must stop their propaganda of trying to promote the idea that Christians support terrorism and violence. Christianity is not Islam.
