"A gamechanging immunotherapy drug that can extend the life of patients with advanced head and neck cancer has been turned down for use in the NHS because of its high cost.
Nivolumab is one of a new class of drug that stimulates the patient’s own immune system to fight the cancer." (The Guardian, p12, 11th April).
Much about the UK government makes me heartily sick.
An example: a new drug that can alleviate the horrendous symptoms of head and neck cancer, and elongates life, has not been allowed for use in the NHS. Government says it is too expensive, at about £66,000 to £75,000 per year (The Guardian, p12, 11th April).
And this is why it makes me sick... the same government has okayed paying all the costs to treat homosexuals with AIDS and HIV, at greater cost. And it is willing to pay to give drugs to homosexuals to prevent them from getting HIV and AIDS in the first place, at a cost much more than that of treating the cancers.
In other words, homosexuals, who can prevent HIV and AIDS by stopping their wicked perverse sexual activities, which are repulsive and biologically twisted, are being rewarded for their sins, whilst those who cannot stop getting cancer, are refused treatment that costs less. The immorality of this is obvious.
