"Archbishops recall commitment to care and friendship for all, regardless of sexual orientation"

"The Archbishops of Canterbury and York have today written to all Primates of the Anglican Communion, and to the Presidents of Nigeria and Uganda, recalling the commitment made by the Primates of the Anglican Communion to the pastoral support and care of everyone worldwide, regardless of sexual orientation."

The relevant part of the communique (Anglican Communion News Service, 29 January 2014) is as follows:

'....we wish to make it quite clear that in our discussion and assessment of moral appropriateness of specific human behaviours, we continue unreservedly to be committed to the pastoral support and care of homosexual people.

The victimisation or diminishment of human beings whose affections happen to be ordered towards people of the same sex is anathema to us. We assure homosexual people that they are children of God, loved and valued by Him and deserving the best we can give - pastoral care and friendship.'

We hope that the pastoral care and friendship that the Communiqué described is accepted and acted upon in the name of the Lord Jesus."

What a terrible indictment on Anglicans who follow this unbiblical advice!

Scripture is very, very clear... repentant saved souls ONLY are a part of God's people and Church.

But, homosexuals who will not repent are cast into hell and are unloved by God on this earth!

We have no warrant to 'care' for homosexuals who remain in their foul sin, and we cannot give them pastoral support.

This is NOT victimisation but godly, biblical teaching! These people do not "just happen" to have same sex sex... it is a deliberate and wicked act based on their own unsaved natures and a black heart. They are therefore not "loved by God" or His children...

Anglicans should read what God says in His word about it and not rely on Bishops who are teaching the opposite.

As wicked men and women homosexuals are NOT valued by God as homosexuals. He will sometimes tolerate them to stay alive (unless they contract wicked diseases because of their foul habits), but they have no other value, for they are heading for hell.

It is THESE notes that need to be followed, not the inept theologies of Anglican priests.
