"The mother of a severely anorexic 15-year-old girl who died after stepping in front of a train has said that failings in her daughter’s care “from beginning to end” resulted in her death." (Guardian, 2 May 2017)

A very tragic and sad main news story today (2 May 2017) has the fault laid at the feet of hospital doctors and staff who, says a mother, ‘let’ her daughter die at age 15 from Anorexia. My friends – get this straight in your heads!

The psychiatric service is not a genuine locus of treatment or diagnosis...

The girl, though only 15, has had ‘psychiatric’ (emotional) problems for three years. As an unsaved child, she was doing what a huge number of young teenagers do – they fantasise and play out drama in their minds. When they are not stopped, they go on to do really awful things like suicide, or starve themselves.

THIS IS WHAT UNSAVED TEENAGERS DO! IT IS CAUSED NOT BY NURSES OR DOCTORS, BUT BY THEIR OWN SINFUL HEARTS.

This might be hard to bear or to accept, but it is true.

Thus, the psychiatric services, themselves rooted in sin and fake medicine, cannot properly deal with their unsaved client group, especially not teenagers. The true fault is SIN, not wrong emotions etc.

The emotions are only wrong because they are developed in the minds of sinners, whose hearts are black and filled with sin. Young, yes, but they are still sinners, with no hope or future.

OKAY, YOU MIGHT SAY – BUT WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT IT?

Sadly, very little. A sinful fake medical group (psychiatry) cannot properly heal these people... so why do you think Christians can do any better? Christian counsel can only give out biblical answers – but these only apply to believers, not to young unbelievers.

We must never say “believe in Jesus and He will make you better”... because to say it is to tell a lie.

The FIRST thing is to testify to the Gospel. If there is no response to that, then we can do nothing and the promises by and in Christ are of no use. To put it bluntly, those who are unsaved sufferers must suffer alone, for our comfort is only available to believers.

We can certainly suggest humanistic mechanistic regimes, but these are what psychiatric treatments offer. They deal with the mind, but cannot deal with the spirit... which is dead in unbelievers. Thus, God is not available to them, nor is His comfort.

So – don’t blame psychiatrists and nurses, for they are just as unsaved as the patients they try to help.

They are the blind leading the blind. They offer no real hope. And so even a fifteen year old will not be helped in reality. This is the world we live in – fallen, deadly and full of woes.
