On any typical day of the week, any foreign visitor travelling around Britain would be impressed by its orderly and safe environment. As people go about their daily business they seem to do so with calm assurance. The sun rises and the sun sets. The buses run on time and the BBC News bulletins supply a regular diet of weather forecasts, daily round of sport and regional news.
Life appears predictable, punctuated only by a war, natural disaster, famine or some outrage occurring in some remote part of the world; but these occurrences, spicing up an otherwise uneventful existence, are quickly forgotten as new ones take their place.
If, as a visitor, one were tempted to divert a typical British person from their daily round of ‘normal’ life, with a thought-provoking challenge that disturbed their familiar, daily routine, one might get an instinctive response such as “That is outrageous; how is that allowed in a civilised society?”
But, this would be rapidly swallowed, as in a quicksand, by the demands of realities that can be seen and touched: “That’s very interesting but I have a bus to catch,” or, by their judgement being short-circuited by political correctness. Reality is only allowed to penetrate as far as the forever-shifting world of sense impressions, but not as far as the reality of eternal truths. Any strong assertion or judgements concerning this other reality is being greeted with, “That’s all very interesting but that is your personal opinion, your interpretation, and, in any case, we never pass judgment on anyone or anything these days.”
Without any fixed point of reference, like a ship without compass or captain, society drifts in a sea of relativity and changes its attitudes and values according to the political climate, or zeitgeist. Like the passengers and crew it does not mind where the ship is going, just so long as everything is running smoothly and everyone has the feel-good factor. The only moral compass is a constantly changing political correctness - the average consensus at any particular moment.
What might be shocking and completely unacceptable behaviour can almost overnight become respectable, and what was previously considered to be decent and responsible behaviour can become criminalised. Without any fixed, absolute point of reference, human nature has a way of accommodating and becoming comfortable over a period of time with a state of hell. It can gradually sleep-walk into becoming hardened, desensitised to cruelty, barbarism and evil, until what was considered abnormal or deviant becomes the acceptable norm, as happened in Nazi Germany, Russia, China, Cambodia and now - even Britain.
Mayhem Forgotten
Britain has just witnessed the worst scenes of civil unrest and anarchy on our streets within living memory. And yet it is already forgotten, like the massacre of teenagers in Norway just a few weeks earlier.
The UK’s Prime Minister, David Cameron, briefly attempted to transcend the here and now with the use of words like “irresponsibility” and “selfishness” that belong to the world of absolute moral and value judgements. (Ed. Morals he immediately cast aside when he was appointed, but which are now a political football).
According to the Telegraph, Mr Cameron claimed the riots have been a “wake-up call” for Britain, after decades in which social problems had been allowed to “fester”; that the riots were the result of a litany of social and cultural problems, and that irresponsibility and selfishness had led some people to behave as if their choices had no consequences.
He blamed “children without fathers; schools without discipline; reward without effort; crime without punishment; rights without responsibilities; communities without control”, and that mending that “broken society” was his fundamental aim in politics.

To those very few in Britain who still believe in the power of ideas and the necessity of values and morality these words might have been comforting; that is, until we realise that the morality and value judgements that he makes are, when it comes down to acting on them, an inversion of those the Christian and traditionalist would hold: words like ‘good’, ‘evil’, ‘tolerant’, ‘inclusive’, and ‘diverse’ mean precisely the opposite of what we (mainly Christians) mean.
Where is the evidence for such an accusation? One only has to match his words against his actions.
Sadly there are those, no matter how much evidence hits them in the face, who will still deny the substance of what I am saying. For them, no amount of evidence will convince them that Britain is in terminal meltdown, just as those, who just before the Titanic sank, still believing it to be unsinkable, were playing snow-balls with the ice that was falling from the iceberg onto the deck.
Mindless Idiots Who Do Not Know How to Play the Game
In my opinion, David Cameron is not attributing the “slow motion moral collapse” to the whole of British society but only to a specific section of it – to that of the black Caribbean community. Admittedly, those caught up in anarchy came from all sections of society: rich and poor, privileged and underprivileged, educated and uneducated, black and white - but it is to the black community to whom we are supposed to apportion blame for leading decent, middle and upper class people, just like Mr Cameron himself, astray and into uncharacteristic behaviour.
This, in spite of the fact that bankers, MPs and the newspapers have been out of control for a long time! But, coming down heavily on a section of society that is already disenfranchised and, in the eyes of the public, already possessing a bad public image, whilst costing him little, gives him and others the illusion that he is in control of the situation.

On the other hand those whom Mr Cameron and the BBC are looking to for creating the truly cohesive and stable society, fit for the complexities of a modern, progressive, and 21st century society such as Britain, are the LGBTs, the Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transsexuals, who, whilst according to the Office of National Statistics only make up 1% of society, believe they represent a relatively recent phase in the evolutionary development of the human race.

Gordon Brown and David Cameron both support the “sterling” work of the Terrance Higgins Trust, that shows young people how to play safely with sexual fuses and detonators without the sex bomb supposedly exploding – except that it does! “I think that shows how far we, as a society, have come;”…. “As a country we have come a long way;” and “as a party, my own party, the Conservatives have come a long way. I said at the start of my speech that as a nation we have come a long way, and we have.”

The Great ‘Human Rights’ Campaigner: Peter Tatchell
Perhaps we must leave it to Peter Tachtell who best articulates what Britain will look like after it has torn down all barriers to building a fairer society.
In “Beyond Equality” he writes:

In “Teenage Sex- What Should Schools Teach Children?” he writes:
“Until very recent times, all sex education was overwhelmingly biased towards promoting heterosexuality, marriage, parenthood and traditional family life. Anything outside this exclusive framework was either ignored or condemned……”
“This old-style monocultural sex moralism is now totally out of sync with our modern multicultural society where there is a great diversity of cultures and communities, lifestyles and love-lives.”

But, Tatchell, in “Insignificant Other” wants to go even beyond to something called the Civil Commitment Pact, where any kind of relationship is given social and legal recognition.
“For these reasons, I have suggested a new legal framework – Civil Commitment Pact. It would allow people to nominate as their next-of-kin and beneficiary any 'significant other' in their life. This could be a partner or lover, but it could also be a sister, carer, house-mate, favourite nephew or life-long best friend.”
“Any new partnership legislation should allow people to select from a menu of rights and responsibilities. This flexibility would enable them to devise a tailor-made partnership agreement suited to their own particular needs.”
Public Enemy No1
David Cameron was onto a winner in targeting black youths for losing the plot and creating public disorder; and he is determined to teach them a hard lesson, but, as he so rightly perceives, there still remains one section of British Society, which, by doggedly resisting “progress” towards Utopia, has for centuries been a threat to all established governments. In his eyes, Christians pose a far greater danger to the stability and cohesion, not only of Britain, but any nation. The Labour government, and that of Mr Cameron’s, directed by Stonewall, the Equality and Human Rights Commission has gradually silenced any opposition from Christians. By using a range of options, such as public humiliations, staged annually at the Stonewall Awards ceremony, Victoria and Albert Museum, of such “filthy, homophobic, bigoted swine” as the Bishop of Hereford, Anthony Priddis, or the bishop of Winchester, Michael Scott Joint, and many others who have attempted to defend traditional marriage and the family, they have automatically produced a chilling effect on freedom of speech.
More significantly, Stonewall’s chief executive Ben Summerskill OBE, (Ed. Awarded for promoting what is foul) is confident of eradicating what a judge recently described as the Christian “infection” from the work place and public space. In this he is supported by the Advertising Standards Agency (the Chairman of which is the gay, HIV infected, Lord Chris Smith), the Crown Prosecution Service, and the Ministry of Justice, who are able to use to great effect a raft of new legislation, police harassment, fines, and, if need be, prison (not to mention the taking away of the children of such “Christian deviants” and placing them into the care of the LBGT community). This is why Theresa May, the Home Secretary was so incredibly proud that she and the Home Office came top of this year’s Stonewall Workplace Equality Index.

The Big Society

What he meant, was for the rest of society to respond to his election call to get involved in transforming the most intimate parts of family life, marriage, and what it means to be human. Indeed what more powerful weapon for cultural control is there than public stigmatization. Stigma in Cameron’s tolerant society is a fine and varied thing.

I have no hesitation in saying that the breakdown in order and discipline that many have witnessed in their homes and in their schools, and which has now been paraded in the broad light of day, has not just occurred, but has taken decades, if not a century, to cultivate.

Angela Mason and the ‘Equality and Human Rights’ Commission
A Marxist anarchist (apart from the communists in Parliament briefly referred to above) who has worked tirelessly over the last forty years, denying truth and the natural order, and smashing down the barriers to moral behaviour, is Angela Mason OBE, someone who has an implacable hatred of marriage, the natural family, and men in particular - someone who almost single-handedly has emasculated the male population with the result that we have fatherless families and boys who have nowhere to channel their testosterone except into nihilistic acts of destruction - someone who has burrowed silently into the corridors of government.

Secularism is not an objective, neutral concept. Like religion, it is a worldview that holds tenets that have to be taken on faith and trust. It’s presuppositions, regarding existence, morality and the nature of truth, are scientifically unproven. The only scientific evidence we have concerning this ideology is seeing the results of a society living out its tenets. The riots that we have recently seen on our streets and in our cities show that the results are in.
It may not be too late to scientifically test the effects of Christian beliefs by reinstating marriage, the family, the sanctity of human life and acknowledging our Creator. For us not to do so is producing a vacuum that is already being filled with something far worse than secularism – Islam.
